This brochure provides an overview of the AIR Earthquake Model for Australia, where a vulnerable building stock and high insurance penetration make it essential for companies to have the tools necessary to appropriately assess and manage the country’s seismic risk. The model captures the risk from both ground shaking and liquefaction and provides an incomparable level of detail, enabling superior risk differentiation based on factors including seismic zonation, soil type, construction, occupancy, year built and height.
